Automatic sensitivity gain offers improved image quality in dark scenes or during flash shooting. Manual settings are included for four ISO-equivalent values: 100, 200, 400, and 800.

RAW data is unprocessed 12-bit color data that can be displayed without any image degradation. This data is ideal for image editing because it helps keep degradation effects to a minimum. The DiMAGE Viewer lets you save RAW images in either Minolta-RAW format (which records information on the original image in the file header) or RGB TIFF (48-bit) format.
Various types of text information can be imprinted on your images: date, time serial number, and text messages (up to 16 alphanumeric characters).

Exif Print and PRINT Image Matching are supported to provide high-quality printouts. The latter system was developed by Epson specifically for digital camera images.

Add audio cues that sound either "electronic" or "mechanical" to control buttons and dials.

The DiMAGE 7Hi can be made to sound just like a classic Minolta SLR when you release the shutter. Enjoy the rhythm of fine photography. |

Microdrives are small disk drives the size of CompactFlash cards. Because they can store huge amounts of image data, you can capture a greater number of high-resolution images before transferring them to a PC. |
