| The DiMAGE A1 offers movie recording with a variety of scenes and lighting conditions. For example, if your subject is at a distance, you can use 7x optical zoom to capture the action. And, to ensure that the picture stays steady during recording, Anti-Shake technology is available at all focal lengths. Movie clips are captured at 320 x 240 resolution, with audio, and may be up to 15 minutes long. Capture rate is 24 fps. |

| Sensitivity is increased automatically when light is dim, enabling you to capture clear movies in such conditions. The LCD monitor image automatically brightens as well, to make it easier to see how your picture is framed. |

| Several types of text information can be imprinted on your still images: date, time serial number, and text messages (up to 16 alphanumeric characters). You can imprint this text directly on the image itself, or include it in the image's EXIF tag. Another handy option is audio recording. Just talk into the camera to add a 15-second voice message to any particular still shot.

| The DiMAGE Viewer software makes it easy to manage, edit, and perform many other tasks with your images. It displays thumbnails for quick confirmation, plus EXIF data and any comments you've included. You can copy, move, or rename images as you please. Various image compensation tools are provided, such as tone curve and histogram for still images, and flicker reduction for movie clips. RAW data can be imported, giving you the option to make fine adjustments on uncompressed image data. The DiMAGE Viewer also has advanced color management tools to ensure faithful color reproduction of each shot. Accurate color conversion is possible with monitors, printers, and application software which supports ICC profiles.
