The DiMAGE Z1 features a 3.2 megapixel CCD sensor with a primary color filter to ensure high color fidelity. The images you capture will be detailed enough to turn into large-size prints: 17 cm x 13 cm (7 inches x 5 inches) at 300dpi printer resolution, or an even bigger 35 cm x 26 cm (14 inches x 10 inches) at 150dpi resolution.
