Here's a great new way to handle the unpredictable. Progressive Capture is a unique continuous shooting mode which allows you to keep on shooting until you've captured the image you want. Just keep your finger on the shutter button, and when you get the image you're looking for, let go. This is when the DiMAGE Z1 finally starts recording images on its memory card, saving the last several images in your sequence. At the 3.2 megapixel setting, as many as 6 images get saved. In UHS mode, up to 10 images. |

When speed is of the essence, switch to UHS continuous shooting and take advantage of
its 10 frames per second capture rate. Image resolution is 1.3 megapixels in this mode. |

Find a specific shot you've taken in no time at all. When looking though the memory card, you can go from one image to the next in 0.2 seconds. |

Turn on the DiMAGE Z1 and you'll be ready for your first shot in approx. 2 seconds. Shutter release time lag, another critical factor in camera response, is also extremely fast: only 0.06 seconds. As for shot intervals, the DiMAGE Z1 needs just 1.2 seconds* between one shot and the next.
*Autofocusing time is not included. |
