Shutter release time lag, another critical factor in camera response, is also extremely short at only 0.04 seconds. And DiMAGE Z10 takes just 1.2 seconds^** between one shot and the next.

Seize the image you've been waiting for

With Progressive Capture you keep on shooting until you capture the moment you're waiting for. In this continuous shooting mode, you just hold the shutter button down until you're satisfied. And when you release the button, DiMAGE Z10 starts recording images on its memory card, saving the last several images in your sequence.
