Can't get close enough? No problem. The DiMAGE Z2 lets you fill the frame even with far-off subjects. At 10x optical zoom, the GT Lens provides a focal length equivalent to 380mm. And you can go even further with 4x digital zoom for an incredible 40x total zoom range (Mega Zoom). You'll be well prepared for sporting events, parades, and many other types of outdoor scenes. 40x zoom can also be used for movie recording.

The optional Wide Converter Kit ZCW-100, which includes a 0.75x wide-angle converter lens, allows you to fit more of the scene into each shot. The lens has a 28mm* wide angle that is ideal for capturing architectural images (indoor or outdoor) and panoramic landscape shots.
