Turn power on and you're ready to start shooting in 1.9 seconds. Press the shutter release button and your image is captured immediately, with a shutter-release lag time of just 0.06 seconds. Successive shots can be taken at intervals of under 1 second so you'll never miss a magic moment. And during playback, you can scan your memory card at 0.2 seconds per image.
Progressive Capture mode lets you capture images at a speed of 10 frames per second for as long as you press the shutter-release button. When you let go of the button, 20 images from the preceding two seconds will be saved to the camera's SD memory card as 1024 x 768 images. You can then select the best shot from the 20-image series, and be assured of capturing the magic moment you want.
