Digital ICE technology saves you the time and trouble of cleaning up scans. During the scan process, it automatically detects dust and various flaws on the surface of your film (scratches, fingerprints, mold, etc.). It then removes these elements from your data without altering the details of the original film image.

| Minolta's Pixel Polish offers significant time savings with other hard-to-fix problems. Faded colors, for example, can be restored immediately. You can also fix images that suffer from over- or underexposure, backlighting, color casting, or low contrast. Selecting which factors you want to correct for is not hard at all. What's more, before you actually apply the change you can check to see how your image will end up looking. |

| The Scanning Utility features a wide array of tools for making fine adjustments to image quality. Saturation and hue can be calibrated with precision, as well as sharpness, brightness, and other factors. Exposure compensation is also included. And, for added convenience, the Snapshot function lets you easily track your changes, while the Pre/Post Correction display offers a handy two-image display for comparisons. If you're preparing to scan for a printout, the Scanning Utility provides access to your printer's driver software. Advanced color matching functions are provided. |

| Scan multiple images with a single series of operations. The Batch Scan Utility has a wide range of settings, for factors such as image correction and scan resolution. Once settings have been made, you simply press the Quick Scan button to start scanning all the frames you have loaded. Up to 6 filmstrip frames or 4 mounted slides can be scanned at once. |

| With the Easy Scan Utility, all you do is select the purpose you are scanning for, such as making a printout or sending an email. The utility then handles the rest, automatically adjusting scan resolution and other settings to best match the end use. You can also choose to apply Pixel Polish, Digital ICE, and other functions to your scan. The result? Optimum scans with minimum effort. |
