| Question: | After formatting a CF card (or Microdrive) with a computer, the card is not recognized when inserted in the camera. | Answer: | Always select the file system "FAT" or "FAT16" when formatting with a computer. (With Macintosh, select "DOS format".) If the card is not recognized after formatting with "FAT" or "FAT16", it is presumable that the card condition has been changed from the factory setting and cannot be restored by formatting. Please contact the card manufacturers. |
