Answer:	When the blinking low-battery icon appears on the data panel indicating insufficient power, remove the batteries and turn the mode dial to OFF position, then wait for approximately 30 seconds before switching to other power source or replacing with a new set of fresh batteries. Whenever connecting the AC adapter or external high-power battery pack to the camera, remove the batteries in advance so that the camera can switch the circuit for external power source.
