Question: How can the Anti-Shake be used?
Answer: The Anti-Shake is set from the setup menu. The following three selections are available: Disp. + Exp., Off and Exp. only. Disp. + Exp. is set as the default setting. When the feature is set to Disp. + Exp., anti-shake compensation starts when the shutter-release button is pressed partway down. If set to Exp. only, compensation starts when the shutter-release button is actually depressed. When set to Disp. + Exp., Anti-Shake is on during the live image that appears on the monitor while the shutter-release button is pressed partway down.
Exp. only should be selected if the user senses some discomfort in composing the picture because of body movement or live view image movement. Anti-shake compensation is turned on only for the actual exposure (anti-shake compensation is not applied to the live view image when the shutter-release button is pressed partway down).
