| (1) | With the camera off, insert the prepared CompactFlash card. Turn the camera on and press the playback button (3) . |

 | | (2) | When the confirmation screen appears, use the left/right keys of the controller to highlight "Yes". "No" will cancel the operation. |

 | | (3) | Press the central button of controller to start the updating procedure. |

 | | (4) | When the updating-completed message appears, the updating procedure is complete. Turn the camera off. Remove the CompactFlash card. |
