On 19 January, 2006, Konica Minolta Holding, Inc. (KMHD) in Tokyo, Japan has officially announced its withdrawal from the camera business as of 31 March, 2006. According to KMHD's official announcement, the service operations for Konica Minolta and Minolta binoculars will be handled Kenko Co., Ltd. or their related companies as shown below, on 1 April, 2006 or later.
